Join us for a presentation about the Dr. Sidney White and Helen Fields White Papers, a collection housed at the Austin History Center, the historic division of the Austin Public Library. Jacqueline Smith-Francis, the African American Community Archivist at the Austin History Center, will discuss Dr. White and Mrs. White’s collection, including Dr. White’s work as a notable African American dentist in East Austin, and the couple’s mutual engagements and contributions to Austin’s communities.
